I’ve always been a homebody, but in recent years I have come to enjoy traveling, especially places far away from home. I am learning that there is an amazing world beyond my own backyard just waiting to be explored.
As I begin preparing for a new destination, I am feeling doubly blessed to have the opportunity to visit Israel this summer. It’s a familiar place both in my heart and mind, and I’ve been reading about the Holy Land since I was a young girl. Now I will actually walk through the pages of the Bible, the very places where Jesus’ earthly ministry began! My husband and I are beyond excited to embark on this journey as we explore Biblical history together.
Some of the places we will visit include: the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee, Maglada, Mt. Carmel, Capernaum, Caesarea, the Mt. of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, Hezekiah’s Tunnel, the Western Wall, and the City of David. There will be many more stops along the way of our 10-day tour, which will conclude with the Epicenter Prayer Summit in Jerusalem with Joel C. Rosenberg. I cannot think of a better way to end our trip.
Stay tuned for additional updates, and have a blessed week!
